ST. LLONIO's CHURCH, LLANDINAM


St Llonio’s is the Parish Church of Llandinam and occupies a site on a hilltop overlooking the village.

There has been a church on this site since the 12th Century. The board in the Church showing the list of incumbents records that in 1150 Abbas Dolfin was Abbot of Llandinan (the old spelling).

Directions to the Church

Take the turning on the A470 through Llandinam at the T-junction which has the Post Office to one side, then take the first turning to your left (Church Lane).

The Church Lych Gate is some 50 yards along on the left. It is possible for a car to drive up to the Church but there is limited parking available.

OPENING
St Llonio’s is open daily from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm in the winter, in the summer it remains open until 6.00 pm.

PRIEST-IN-CHARGE
The Rev’d Lynda Cowan, is the Vicar of the United Benefice of Llandinam, Penstrowed and Trefeglwys. To arrange baptisms, weddings or for any other pastoral matter contact Lynda on 01686 413099.

On the first Thursday of each month the Mothers’ Union meets at 1.30 pm in the Chapel Room.
